Why run this survey
When a host new to Airbnb Googles "how much should I pay my cleaner," the first page of results is a mix of cleaning-company marketing, stale Reddit threads, and platform marketplaces where cleaners are posting aspirational rates. There is no single credible source for what hosts are actually paying in 2026.
We're collecting that data — openly, with no gating. Every respondent gets a link to the raw (anonymised) results once we hit 50 responses. The aggregated chart is already live on our cleaner-rate post and will update weekly as data comes in.
What we're collecting
- Your city / market (used only for grouping, not stored)
- Property size (bedrooms, bathrooms, rough sqft / m²)
- What you pay per standard turnover, currency
- What's included (linens/bedding, supplies, laundry service)
- Whether you think the rate is fair, too low, or too high
What we're NOT collecting
- Your email (optional, only if you want the results emailed to you)
- Your name
- Your cleaner's name or contact info
- The exact address of your property
Who's behind this
hostcare.app is cleaner-scheduling software for 1–10 property Airbnb hosts. We publish host-focused content and tools at our blog and tools page. The survey results will live there permanently — free for anyone to cite.
